Azuza police have said they've arrested a man who allegedly tried to poison his wife's cereal. He is being held at the Azuza Police Department on $1 million bail.
According to authorities, the man's wife called paramedics after believing she had inadvertently consumed some sort of chemical. She was taken to the hospital for treatment, where her husband's behavior began raising suspicions.
The San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported that family members allegedly heard him make incriminating statements. Police later arrested him on suspicion of attempted murder.
